Whenever I'm learning something new through videos or lectures, I crochet to keep my hands busy. I've made my daughter so many dresses while learning code!
Teacher and mentor
Before I decided to learn UI and development, I spent many years as an online teacher of English. I've taught hundreds, and I mean hundreds, of children and adults from China and Japan.
Singer and musician
And before I was a teacher, I was a classically-trained singer. I've sung in recitals and operas in New York City and Austria.
